Every guest remembers the cold, gray sky over the Chesapeake. That shared weather turned the ceremony into something everyone carried together — and made the warmth inside mean even more.

Day 1 · Sangeet
Music, color, and both families on one stage.
7:00 PM
Matki Entrance & Chunni Chadhana
Jain family entry with Jaago energy, followed by the blessing of the chunni.
7:15 PM
Kanav Rasam
Nani's recorded songs opened the night, followed by traditional Punjabi blessings for the groom.
7:30 PM
Jain Cousins — Tenu Leke
The Jain cousins welcomed Aditi with a cheeky, high-energy Bollywood number.
7:40 PM
Parents' Dances
Seema & Roopa in Kali Ainak; Karun & Seema in Vanjhali Waja; all four parents together.

Bridesmaids, Groomsmen & Sia
Mukund bridesmaids, Jain groomsmen, and Sia's acoustic You Belong With Me.

Family Medleys & Boliyan Finale
Mukund and Jain family medleys, then the whole room let loose to traditional Punjabi Boliyan.

Aditi entered under a floral chadar to Jashn-E-Bahaara; they exchanged garlands as public acceptance.

Their garments were tied together, blessed by an elder aunt and uncle.

Kasi Yatra
Kanav pretended to leave for Kashi; Aditi's father convinced him to stay, with humor and Nadaswaram music.

Aditi entered to Sita Kalyanam, escorted by her maternal uncles; the swing ceremony followed.

Kanyadanam & Thali
Mr. Mukund placed Aditi's hand in Kanav's; Kanav tied the Thali as the marriage was sealed.

Offerings to the fire, joined hands, and seven steps for seven vows.

Final Ashirvadam & Recessional
Toe rings, anklets, coconut play, and final blessings as Mr. and Mrs. Kanav and Aditi Jain.
